A breath of Japan
“ … leaving the world behind me, I often come to this peaceful place - the spirit here is the spirit of Zen.” This is how Ryokan described “his” place of longing. The timelessness, which is found in the concept of bonsai, and the knowledge that one human life is not enough to “finish” a bonsai, is what Günther Klösch tries to convey. A cup of matcha tea in the teahouse and the views of the bridges, ponds and numerous “potted trees” let you feel a “breath of Japan” at Lake Millstätter See.
