Experience the magic of Christmas of advent at "Cape 4613" from 24 November to 31. December every day with atmospheric decorated hot wine stands in the swimming wood of Christmas trees. Enjoy the scene of wood, fir needles and spicy mulled wine and warming fireplaces which give a cosy and romantic atmosphere. Delicates and hot cider, mulled wine, "Weihnachtskrainer" and hearty bread, roasted chestnuts and bread with roasted pork.
In December there is bustle and Carinthian Christmas mood. The Perchtengruppe Obermillstatt and the Mountain Devils from Bad Kleinkirchheim and the Men´s choir of Millstatt and the Gospel group "Sound of Church" are guests at "Cape 4613". You can marvel and buy handicraft and local specialities every Sunday. At the winter solstice at 18 December a magnificent fire is lighted in the lake and small boats with wishes are send on the their journeys.

The unique city park at the Castle Porcia in the center of the city Spittal/Drau forms the wonderful and a pleasant atmosphere of the Christkindlmarkt from 26 of November unti 23 of December, from Friday till Sunday. The Christmas stalls with handicrafts of the region, Christmas decorations and a wide program of Christmas concerts, a extensive program for children and gastronomy stands with Glühwein, punch and culinary titbits.
A skating rink and a hill sledging shorten the waiting for the "Christkind".
Carinthia's only life-size nativity scene, with around 50 figures, is in Radenthein town centre. Besides the traditional figures of the nativity scene, there are unmistakable regional influences in the shape of a singer's quartet, choir and national costumes. To complete the magical programme, there are musical events and tours of the town.
