Lake Millstätter See is very well known for the fact that there are many whitefish measuring over 70 centimeters splashing around in its water. The whitefish is also associated with an event that is enough to make an angler dizzy with excitement...
The “International Kristall-Renke Angling Competition” takes place annually on the lake. The main category is the whitefish (Reinanke).
