The path now leads over the Lieser Bridge through the archway to the town's main square. A Renaissance shield with a red and white divided eagle flight points to the significance of the granting of the coat of arms by Emperor Ferdinand I for the up-and-coming market. House No. 153 of the former county governor Dr. Christoph Schüttpacher (1586-1601) is one of the town's characteristic 16th-century town houses.
