How often do we lose ourselves in our hectic everyday lives, surrounded by noise and constant pressure from outside? Imagine there is a place just for you .... your retreat right by the lake. This place, this little house directly by the lake, this environment lets you regain consciousness, lets you feel your own pace, lets you perceive with all your senses, yourself and your immediate surroundings, lets you come to peace and breathe deeply. Here you will find yourself again!

In the middle of a 3.000 m2 large meadow, surrounded by chestnut trees, lime trees and ash trees, lies your refuge at the lake. Here you will find the peace and relaxation you need. Around the refugium on the lake you have the place all to yourself, only directly on the lake you will occasionally meet the guests of the vacation apartment and my family with friends!

At the refugium am See you have the opportunity to enjoy an individual meditation in the morning or in the evening. Or you can treat yourself to a relaxing sound massage right by the lake.

Also in 2023 Romana Hauptmann will be at my guests' side with her unsurpassable calmness and competence in mindfulness and relaxation techniques, preparing you for an incomparable experience right at the refugium am See!

The refugium am See is a small cottage, minimalist and simple, yet equipped with all the necessary comforts.

Small bathroom with hot water and toilet, king size bed 160x200, table, 2 armchairs, storage space under the bed, 2 electric skylights, interior blinds, infrared heating. Terrace with fridge, table with 2 armchairs and parasol, 2 deck chairs. Hot water outdoor shower. Nespresso machine with capsules, kettle with tea assortment and sugar. Picnic basket with plates, glasses, cups, cutlery, salt, pepper, bottle opener, champagne stopper.

Wandelweg through the natural meadow directly to the lake (about 30 meters) with jetty.

Distance refugium am See to Villa Martiny: 250 m (4 minutes walk).

I will gladly provide you with a gourmet basket filled with regional Carinthian specialties or a breakfast basket for an additional charge - enjoyment directly at the lake!

Enjoy your hearty breakfast on the east-facing veranda of Villa Martiny in the morning sun before heading to your own 3.000 m² private beach at the lake, just 250 meters from the house. End your day here on balmy summer evenings with a good glass of wine.

Should it be too uncomfortable outside, snuggle up on the couch in the cozy living room and let your mind wander or chat comfortably with your loved ones.

The kitchen of Villa Martiny includes everything you need for everyday life. Dining table, kitchenette with stove, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator with small freezer compartment. All kitchen utensils are available and should something be missing, your landlady can certainly help out!

The apartment for 1-4 persons of Villa Martiny has a large bedroom with double bed (passage room) and a smaller bedroom with flexible bed division - depending on your needs it can be 2 single beds (90x200) or a double bed (180x200).

On request and subject to availability, I am happy to provide my office with sofa bed (80x200) for a 5th person. The bathroom is equipped with shower and toilet.
